To keep US Airways flying safely, InnerLink developed a system that exceeded compliance regulations for the FAA and saved valuable time.

Situation: US Airways needed safety placards and manuals for its entire fleet to meet safety protocols.

Solution: InnerLink created comprehensive reference manuals that included placard illustrations, parts lists, and a list showing which specific placards were required on which aircraft. While this large manual was necessary as a general reference, these books were not ideal for use in inspections because of their size. So InnerLink proposed ergonomic "walk-around" work aids  for inspectors to help make their work fast and easy. InnerLink even rendered the walk-around drawings in hyperlinked text online.

Benefit: US Airways reported that the walk-around drawings reduced inspection time by 40 percent. For a carrier with thousands of flights per day, that's a significant boost in on-time departures and to the bottom line!
